We stopped off for a few hours to visit the historic and contemporary waterscapes of Dubai, and have dinner with Michael Hughes, Jean Disabatino and Maryam Mudhaffar from American University, Sharjah. Maryam and Michael gave a great tour of the old city and the port.

As we traveled through India we were lucky enough to have Vinayak Bharne with us to lecture on architecture, history and culture.

Climbing the minaret of the Jama Masjid in Delhi offered some unusual wardrobe opportunities for the ladies.

This is where we had dinner on the first night in Delhi (turn your sound up)

Chandigarh was spectacular

Lots of opportunities for drawing at the Red Fort in Agra. If you look carefully at the background in the group photo, you can see the Taj Mahal.

Lamplit dinner with President Nielsen at the House of MG in Ahmadabad: a traditional Gujurat Thali served on brass dishes.

Brick and geometry at Louis Kahn's IIM, Ahmadabad
